Elizabeth qualified as a Solicitor in 2015 and as a specialist in Court of Protection matters, she assists clients who have lost their mental capacity, due to medical negligence at birth, a severe accident, mental illness or because they have Alzheimer’s disease or some form of dementia. Elizabeth regularly advises on all forms of property and affairs applications to the Court of Protection and dealing with the ongoing management of Deputyships.

She also has experience in the creation and management of Personal Injury Trusts, guiding and supporting clients to make important decisions about their finances.

Prior to joining Hyphen Law, Elizabeth worked in the private client department of an international firm where she also gained experience in the preparation of Wills and the creation and registration of Lasting Powers of Attorney, experience that she will continue to draw on in her new role with Hyphen Law .

Elizabeth is passionate about helping people and ensuring that their best interests are protected, and her tailored support is always considerate and caring

She is an affiliate member of the Society of Trusts and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and a fully accredited member of the Solicitors for the Elderly (SFE). Elizabeth has also received training through the Alzheimer’s Society’s Dementia Friends programme, an initiative that aims to change society’s perception of dementia.

Outside of work, Elizabeth is a keen runner and has taken part in the London marathon.
